The pharmacy division has opened urban stores exemplified by the stores in Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ginza, and Shinsaibashi. Focusing on health and beauty products, we have garnered overwhelming support for providing products that meet customers' needs as well as a product line-up rich in variety. Our customer base is comprised mainly of female senior high school students, college students, and female office workers, but recently the number of male customers is also increasing, garnering us attention from a wide range of customers. In particular, in response to the diversified needs of female office workers, we are working towards new developments in the stores in accordance with the location environment such as expanding cosmetic counters and establishing nail corners.
We will continue to aim at increasing our stores focusing on downtown areas and station buildings in the Kanto region and west of the Kanto region.
We are opening new stores in the drug store division by collaborating with SM, NSC shopping centers, and single stores in suburbs of all regions. We are establishing lifestyle oriented drug stores to meet the wide range of customer needs using our large selection of products from living necessities such as convenience goods, bakery products, and groceries to medical products, with health and beauty products at the core.
We provide a business model that caters to the expectations of the female customers of the urban stores who might shift to suburbs after marriage hoping to find a Matsumotokiyoshi store in the suburbs. We also aim to expand the business in a manner that the customers of the urban stores can continue to use our stores and become our lifetime customers. With such activities, we would like to keep and expand our customer (fan) base.
In future, we are planning to open profitable stores based on a strategy focused on shopping centers and commercial facilities in the Kanto region and areas west of the Kanto region.

We are developing an online store from which you can buy Matsumotokiyoshi products with your PC or smart phone.
We are expanding our stores by focusing on pharmaceutical drugs (Second-class OTC drugs, third-class OTC drugs), health supplements, cosmetics, daily necessities, and food products. When including the mail ordered products that are not carried in the store, the approximate number of items becomes 13,000.
Besides our company sites, we are also putting in efforts towards opening branch stores at other major shopping locations.
Given the spread of the Internet and social media, we are also developing Omni channel retailing that utilizes both stores and the Internet.
